Download the MyRedback (Smart Energy Manager) app, or use the Redback Portal on your computer, and log in with your owner account."},{"left_content":"<h6>Step 2 -<\/h6>\r\n<h6>Open your battery schedule<\/h6>","right_content":"In MyRedback, or the Redback Portal, go to your battery or schedule settings, where you set when the battery charges and discharges."},{"left_content":"<h6>Step 3 -<\/h6>\r\n<h6>Set the 5:30pm to 9:30pm discharge window<\/h6>","right_content":"Set a discharge, or export, period from 17:30 to 21:30. This is what pushes the battery to discharge and sell back to the grid during Happy Hour."},{"left_content":"<h6>Step 4 -<\/h6>\r\n<h6>(<em>Optional<\/em>) charge when energy is cheaper<\/h6>","right_content":"If you want to top the battery up from the grid at cheaper times, set a charge period outside Happy Hour, for example overnight, so the battery is full before 5:30pm."},{"left_content":"<h6>Step 5-<\/h6>\r\n<h6>Check your reserved State of Charge<\/h6>","right_content":"Make sure your minimum, or reserved, State of Charge isn't set so high that the battery stops discharging early. Around 10 to 20% leaves enough to discharge through the whole window."},{"left_content":"<h6>Step 6-\r\nConfirm export is enabled and you're not on a conflicting VPP<\/h6>","right_content":"Make sure export is enabled and within your network's export limit (not zero-export). Battery-to-grid export won't work if you're signed up to another VPP that controls your battery."},{"left_content":"<h6>Step 7-\r\nSave and verify<\/h6>","right_content":"Save your settings. You keep full control of your solar and battery system at all times.\r\n\r\nFlow Power doesn\u2019t remotely control your inverter or battery.
