The Flow Power app is your smart energy tool to help track usage and monitor electricity prices.
Use the traffic light system to plan and time your energy usage and reduce your bill cost.
Ready to switch? Just follow the steps in the app
Please note existing customers will only move to their newly selected plan from 1st August 2026.
Step 1:
Open your flow power app, and tap the the profile icon on the right top corner of the screen.
Step 2:
Scroll to the bottom and tap on “Switch Plan” to start the switching process.
Step 3:
Please select your desired plan and switch date to view your new rates and confirm your switch.
Step 4:
Review your plan details & pricing, then confirm your switch.
Please note you will receive an email confirmation after the switch has been processed

The app is designed to give you clear, simple insights using three views
- The Live view – real-time data on your energy usage and energy prices
- The Days view – check how today is performing, your usage and your savings
- The Months view – your overall electricity use pattern, estimate of your monthly savings, exports (if any) and your Price Efficiency Adjustment.
Live View
Real-time guidance that helps you act
Plan your electricity use with a simple energy tracker to easily identify the energy prices
- Green – run those energy hungry appliances! – cheap prices & high renewables
- Yellow – moderate conditions – not the most efficient, but not the worst either
- Red – essentials only! avoid high usage
Market conditions: a market price prediction for the day, so you can plan your energy use. Plus, how much % of renewable energy is currently contributed to the power grid.
Your home: shows how much energy you’re using right now and how it’s impacting your costs.
Energy tracker: how high or low the market price is in real-time.
The app will learn your usage over time and will tailor your insights month on month.

See how today is tracking
Understand your daily usage and how your energy choices are impacting cost and earnings.
A traffic light system to inform you on current market conditions and daily performance values that indicate
- Your energy consumption
- Your exports & export earnings (if any)
- Your Price Efficiency Adjustment
- Overall estimate of how much money you are saving that month (the final value can change based on your entire months usage)
Months View
Your bigger picture
A clear view of your overall energy performance across the billing period.
You’ll see:
- Your usage and exports for the month
- Estimated bill and export earnings
- Net adjustment impact, how your Price Efficiency Adjustment has influenced your bill
- Your energy use trends across the month, including when pricing worked in your advantage or not
This view is meant to help you understand how well you’re currently doing and how you could improve your usage patterns.
Stay in control when prices rise
When prices rise, the Flow Power app can help you stay in control.
You’ll receive priority notifications if rare extreme weather events or outages cause electricity prices to surge.
You can also choose to enable custom notifications to get the heads up when wholesale electricity prices rise beyond your comfort levels.
