Flow Power is proud to announce our next big milestone. We’ve officially launched into Queensland and homes across the Energex network in South East Queensland can now access our smarter, greener energy offer.
This marks an exciting step in our national expansion, joining Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia as part of the Flow Power community. We’re thrilled to now bring our innovative approach to energy to the Sunshine State.

Our launch into Queensland currently includes households within the Energex distribution network, which supplies electricity to most of South East Queensland. This area covers major regions such as Brisbane, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, Ipswich and surrounding suburbs, extending west as far as some parts of Toowoomba.
It’s important to note that not all of Toowoomba is covered, so if you’re located in that area, please be sure to check your electricity bill to confirm that your distributor is Energex before signing up.
If your property falls within the Ergon Energy distribution area — which covers much of regional Queensland — Flow Power isn’t available in your area just yet. However, we’re actively working towards expanding our reach so that more Queensland households can benefit from our innovative energy plans in the near future.
You can use the Energex Outage Finder Map to check which network your home is connected to or view the Energex network area here.
All Queensland Flow Power customers are connected to the Clermont Solar Farm, a major renewable energy project in Central Queensland, through 100% GreenPower. For every unit of energy used, the equivalent amount of renewable energy is added to the grid by the Clermont Solar Farm. This means your home or business is linked to a local solar generator and supporting Queensland’s renewable energy transition.
Flow Power is changing the way Australians use and think about energy. We provide customers access to wholesale market linked pricing and the opportunity to be rewarded for using more renewable power when it’s abundant – using smarter, variable pricing to their advantage.
Our variable pricing model means electricity prices can change throughout the day based on demand and renewable generation. By shifting energy use to times when renewable energy is plentiful, households can access cleaner power at lower prices, helping reduce both emissions and costs.

For Queenslanders, this means being part of a movement towards a more sustainable, transparent and flexible energy future, one that rewards households for choosing when and how they use power.
Our goal has always been to make renewable energy simple and accessible. With our launch into the Energex network, we’re one step closer to helping more Australians take control of their energy use and reduce their impact on the environment.
And for businesses, there’s good news too. Business customers that qualify for large-market rates can already join Flow Power on a business plan anywhere in Queensland. This gives commercial customers across the state the opportunity to access the same smarter energy benefits, including market-linked pricing and renewable supply options.
Flow Power has been proudly powering Queensland businesses, including manufacturers and agriculture operations for over 8 years, providing market-linked pricing and tailored energy solutions. Now, we’re bringing that same innovative model to Queensland residents.
