Project overview

Goyder South Stage 1 is a 412 MW wind farm located in the Mid-North region of South Australia. Flow Power purchased close to 10% of the project’s total generation capacity, securing 40 MW through a 10-year Power Purchase Agreement, to provide renewable energy for retail customers in South Australia.

Goyder South Stage 1 is part of Neoen’s flagship project known as Goyder Renewables Zone, a hybrid wind, solar and storage project located near the town of Burra.

Goyder South Stage 1 will create over 400 construction jobs, 12 full-time permanent positions and will share substantial ongoing economic advantages with the local community and Traditional Owners, the Ngadjuri.

Creating positive impact

The project has transferred ownership of 1,000 hectares at the iconic Worlds End Gorge to the Government of South Australia, paving the way for a new national park in the state and setting a new benchmark in Australia’s clean energy industry for delivering positive environmental impact.
