Flow Power furthers its commitment to supporting renewable generation by signing a 40 MW 10-year PPA with Neoen’s Goyder South Stage 1 wind farm.
Goyder South Stage 1 is the first stage of Neoen’s flagship project known as Goyder Renewables Zone, a hybrid wind, solar and storage project located near Burra in South Australia.
Stage 1 of the project comprises of 75 wind turbines with a generation capacity of 412 MW, is currently under construction. Flow Power, one of Australia’s fastest-growing energy retailers, has agreed to purchase close to 10% of the project’s generation capacity through the PPA. Flow Power’s long-term commitment provides greater revenue security and stability for the Goyder South Stage 1 project as it progresses with construction.
The 40 MW agreement brings Flow Power’s total renewable energy portfolio to 367 MW, strengthening the organisation’s commitment to creating Australia’s renewable energy future.
By purchasing a significant amount of the project’s output, Flow Power will be able to provide more renewable energy to meet the PPA demand from its retail customers in South Australia.

The project will deliver considerable positive contributions to the local community and environment. Goyder South Stage 1 will create over 400 construction jobs and 12 full-time permanent positions and will share substantial ongoing economic advantages with the local community and Traditional Owners, the Ngadjuri.
