Energy Efficiency Council: Leading Energy Management Innovation Award 2024
Flow Power’s demand response team won the Energy Efficiency Council‘s Leading Energy Management Innovation Award for 2024. The award was achieved for the Building Intelligent Demand Response in South Australia (SABIDR) project.
Initiated by the Government of South Australia, Flow Power designed a technology-based solution capable of saving South Australian businesses money on their electricity bills and reducing strain on the grid.
We integrated our trademark technology, kWatch®, into customer sites to enable automated demand response during market volatility. The success of the project has led to individual customer savings of up to $57,000 per annum and expansion of intelligent demand response across Australia.
Clean Energy Council: Solar Design & Installation Award 2023
Flow Power’s on-site solar team took home the win at the Clean Energy Council Solar Design & Installation Awards 2023.
The team was nominated in the Under 100 kW category for the technically challenging installation at Lake Mountain Alpine Resort, with 167 solar panels installed at altitude on a 40-degree sloped roof.
Generating almost 118,000 kWh of renewable energy annually, and saving more than 61 tonnes of CO₂, the installation marks the start of promising decarbonisation developments for Victoria’s alpine region.
