While November was not as remarkable as October for breaking renewable energy records in the National Electricity Market (NEM), it certainly came close. Despite November not setting any new records, it is in the top five for renewable months across the NEM as a whole, and in individual mainland regions. Higher demand across the middle of the day in Queensland and New South Wales (likely a result of increased temperatures), resulted in higher midday prices in the region.
