Australian renewable energy retailer, Flow Power, has secured 10% of the generation from ACEN Australia’s Stubbo Solar; a 400 MW solar project that will produce enough clean energy to power around 185,000 homes.
The offtake will allow households to support the production of locally generated renewable electricity and underpin the national rollout of innovative home electricity plan, Flow Home, as it expands into New South Wales.
Built and owned by, ACEN Australia, Stubbo Solar is one of the largest new solar projects coming online to generate renewable energy for the National Electricity Market (NEM). Flow Power’s offtake agreement is part of its commitment to ensure that 100% of Flow Home customers’ electricity usage is matched with GreenPower accredited renewable electricity from local projects.

Flow Home is a flexible, wholesale‑linked electricity plan that rewards customers for shifting their energy use to times when renewable generation is abundant. Innovative technology and smart energy management tools allow households to take advantage of low cost, renewable energy in the grid.
All Flow Home customers are supporting local Australian projects, including Newstead Energy Project, Hepburn Energy Park, Berri Energy Project, Clermont Solar Farm – and now, Stubbo Solar, with 100% of their energy use matched via GreenPower, with renewable energy added to the grid from their nominated project. This approach sets a new standard in renewable energy for residential retail, giving customers the opportunity to support specific generators that they nominate through their energy plan.

The Stubbo offtake agreement forms part of Flow Power’s broader strategy to secure long‑term renewable supply and expand its portfolio of local clean energy projects across the NEM. By including 100% GreenPower accredited renewable electricity in its residential products, Flow Power aims to encourage households to become active participants in Australia’s renewable transition, helping them to reduce their energy costs and carbon emissions.

About Flow Home
Flow Home is a residential electricity plan from Flow Power that aims to disrupt the traditional energy market by empowering households to be part of Australia’s energy transition. The plan helps households take more control over the amount they pay for energy, while increasing their consumption of abundant renewable energy and reducing Australia’s dependency on outdated fossil fuelled generators.
Flow Home encourages efficient energy use with a mechanism called the Price Efficiency Adjustment (PEA). Customers receive 100% GreenPower and a fixed base energy rate (which is below the Victorian Default Offer), which is adjusted by their PEA to give their monthly usage rate. The PEA reflects how effectively customers use energy during cheaper, peak renewable periods, and their bill is adjusted accordingly.
As a technology-integrated plan, Flow Home customers can use the Flow Power app to monitor and manage their usage in real-time, enabling informed energy decisions in line with wholesale market conditions.
