The opportunity

Apply your technical, project management, and planning skills to help Flow Power develop a pipeline of large-scale energy generation and storage projects.

Key responsibilities

Site Identification and Feasibility:

  • Work closely with the Project Team to identify key assessment criteria for new solar, battery, and wind projects
  • Identify green field and brown field project opportunities based on assessment criteria
  • Develop risk-based development plans for each project phase
  • Prepare development budgets for approval by management teams

 

Project Development:

  • Lead the permitting process for development projects
  • Coordinate stakeholder and community consultations
  • Manage the grid connection process and coordinate with the internal design team
  • Participate in regular reviews to ensure project meet investment criteria

 

Financial Close:

  • Provide support during board approval or project finance processes
  • Assist in the smooth handover to the project delivery
About you

You have demonstrated experience in project development, with knowledge of wind and/or battery projects. You also possess the below skills:

  • Background in planning approvals, especially in NSW
  • Proven project management skills
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and liaison skills
  • Proficiency in Advanced Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Problem-solving and analysis capabilities
  • Effective planning, time management, and organisational skills
  • Hold a current Australian Driver’s License
  • Willingness to travel as required

 

It’s envisaged that you have a degree in engineering, town planning, or environmental science related field. Experience negotiating legal documents and using GIS software is also viewed favourably.
